The Berlinische Galerie will be closed from 7.2.23-25.5.23 for renovations.
The Berlinische Galerie was recently donated collections of work by Herbert Kaufmann (*1924) and Max Wechsler (*1925), which for the first time are being shown together with works already held in the collection. Whereas Kaufmann uses logos and lettering as compositional elements, Wechsler uses printed paper as a basic material in his pictures.
